Fluctuation between overload and fascination, there is beauty and fear, blended into a noise. Human influence creates perspectives and leads them ad absurdum. We invent languages:  sign language, belief systems, music, mathematics, logic and belive we can describe the world with them. My paintings draw on these languages to push them to their limits. To expand them, to break them, to escape from them, to rethink them. Layers overlap and interlock. What began as an explanation fails due to the complexity of the world. It's not about surrendering, it's about embracing my apathy.
